Between Investeringsgroep has extended its position in the Dutch healthcare sector by acquiring a 49% shareholding in MetaPlanning Holding from Rabo Participaties.
MetaPlanning Holding was founded by two general practioners in 2000 who still hold a 51% shareholding. MetaPlanning Holding consists of Vitea Healthcare Centres and MetaPlanning. Vitea is a chain of healthcare centres and general practioners with 17 locations across the Netherlands. MetaPlanning is an advisory firm active in the area of health and safety, absenteeism and healthcare management. MetaPlanning Holding has a turnover of EUR 11 million and employs approximately 85 employees.
Between Investeringsgroep is also active in the field of primary healthcare with its subsidiaries Symphony Healthcare Centres and the healthcare web portal dokterdokter.nl. The new shareholders have the intention to accomplish a full merger between Symphony and Vitea.
