“Every project provides the challenge of finding the best possible approach. When a business is sold, the focus is often on realising the highest possible proceeds for the shareholders. But good prospects for the business and the employees is often equally important. I become even more enthusiastic if fitting together the pieces of the puzzle proves complicated because the market has developed negatively, because the intended buyer is the most important customer or supplier, or because the business has had disappointing results for a couple of years, for example. I am actually at my best in such situations.”
