Brammer acquired the activities of Ramakers
Brammer Nederland B.V. acquired the activities of Technisch Handelsbureau H. Ramakers. Ramakers significantly expands its product range, creating an even stronger player in the region. In 1999, Brammer acquired KNS Aandrijftechniek B.V. followed by Carim B.V. in 2000. The acquisition of Ramakers increases the total number of branches of Brammer to 17 in the Netherlands. Furthermore, Brammer Group has 300 branches spread over Europe.
Brammer Plc is Europe’s leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products and services, including bearings, mechanical powertransmission, pneumatics, hydraulics and tools for health and safety equipment. Brammer Plc is traded on the London Stock Exchange. With over 3,000 employees the company generated revenues of GBP 572 million in 2011.
Handelsbureau H. Ramakers was established in 1950 and has developed into a specialised supplier of power transmissions, compressed air technology, compressors and welding tools in the broadest sense of the word.
