Achmea sold Achmea Vitale to Zorg van de Zaak Netwerk

Achmea sold Achmea Vitale to Zorg van de Zaak Netwerk. Parent company Achmea reached an agreement with Zorg van de Zaak Netwerk on the sale of the occupational health and safety service provider. The proposed transaction is subject to approval by the works council and competition authorities. Parties expect to complete the transaction in the second quarter of 2012.

Achmea Vitale is a leading occupational health and safety service provider in the Netherlands. Achmea Vitale will continue to operate within Zorg van de Zaak Netwerk as an independent business under the Arbo Vitale name. All of Achmea Vitale’s 800 staff will transfer to the new owner.

Zorg van de Zaak Netwerk (www.zorgvandezaak.nl) is a joint venture between companies specialising in employment and health: occupational health and safety service providers MaetisArdyn and Health Services and companies with expertise in employability (GIMD, Skils and Margolin). Zorg van de Zaak Netwerk employs 875 people.
