De Jong & Laan was sold to Waterland

Accounting and advisory organization de Jong & Laan is accelerating its growth ambition through a planned investment by investment company Waterland in de Jong & Laan. The partnership with Waterland enables de Jong & Laan to expand its high-quality and leading position in the Netherlands. The main reason for this investment is the demand from customers and professionals in the accounting industry for a continuously expanding and deepening range of services. In addition to a financial boost, Waterland brings proven expertise in accelerated growth through mergers & acquisitions. The partners of de Jong & Laan will reinvest in the new management organization that arises from Waterland’s investment. Waterland and de Jong & Laan have agreed, in accordance with accounting legislation (Wta), that control over auditing activities will always remain with de Jong & Laan’s accountants. The daily management remains in the hands of de Jong & Laan’s board.
