Difrax was sold to Canpol Babies
Difrax, the Dutch market leader in baby products has been sold to Canpol Babies. Difrax was founded in 1967 by Frank and Dimphna van Eijkelenborg and in 1999 daughter Vivienne van Eijkelenborg took over the company. From that moment a strong focus on product development and export to other (European) countries established great success. As a result, Difrax became the market leader in the Benelux with their iconic S-bottle and butterfly-shaped, trendy coloured pacifiers. Canpol is a Polish baby accessories producer and has been leading their respective home market for 30 years and is available in over 50 countries, focussing on Eastern Europe. With this acquisition, Canpol sets its first large step in their expansion to the Western European market.
