Rabo Participaties has acquired a 60% shareholding in Koop Bronbemaling
Rabo Participaties, part of Rabo Private Equity, has acquired 60% of the shares in Koop Bronbemaling. The former sole owner stays on both as shareholder and as director. The chief operating officer became shareholder as well.
Koop Bronbemaling, founded in 1969, designs and implements advanced dewatering systems for managing the groundwater level at building and infrastructure construction sites. Clients of Koop are large construction companies in the Netherlands and Germany and increasingly large European pipeline construction companies; in 2007 about 50% of turnover was realised in the latter segment. Koop operates from four locations in the Netherlands and Germany. The strong growth of the company in recent years has resulted in a turnover of Euro 19 million in 2007.
Rabo Private Equity, with its Rabo Capital and Rabo Participaties brands, is the investment company of the Rabobank Group. Rabo Private Equity invests in medium-sized Dutch companies with a strong and committed management team, a stable cash flow and a sound platform for further growth.
