Clearwater International advises Koop Bronbemaling on the sale of a majority stake to Rabo Private Equity

Clearwater International has advised Koop Bronbemaling, a prominent water management and drainage services provider, on the sale of a 60% stake to the investment company, Rabo Participaties, part of Rabo Private Equity. The former owner will remain as a shareholder and director, while the COO also becomes a shareholder.

Established in 1969, Koop Bronbemaling specialises in designing and implementing advanced dewatering systems, for managing the groundwater level at construction sites for building and infrastructure. Its clients include large construction companies in the Netherlands and Germany, and increasingly large European pipeline construction companies. The company operates from four locations in the Netherlands and Germany.

Rabo Private Equity, with its Rabo Capital and Rabo Participaties brands, is the investment company of the Rabobank Group. It focuses on investing in medium-sized Dutch companies with strong management teams, stable cash flow, and solid foundations for further growth.
