Symphony Technology Group sold quCare Solutions to Nexus AG
Symphony Technology Group, a Sillicon Valley based private equity firm, sold quCare Solutions to Nexus AG (Germany). Symphony Technology Group acquired quCare through its acquisition of the European healthcare technology activities of McKesson Corporation in 2014. The acquisition of quCare Solutions, is another step towards Nexus’ goal of becoming a leading European eHealth company.
quCare Solutions is a top 3 vendor of eHealth software to hospitals and mental healthcare institutions in the Netherlands. With 110 employees the company generated a turnover of approximately EUR 15 million in 2014. Prior to being acquired by Symphony Technology Group, quCare Solutions was known as McKesson Netherlands.

Nexus AG (www.nexus-ag.de), quoted at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, develops and sells IT solutions for the healthcare sector. These IT solutions allow hospitals, rehabilitation and social institutions to convert to digital patient information. The company employs over 700 staff members, realised a turnover of EUR 74 million and an EBITDA of EUR 14 million in 2013.
