Techone acquires Lagarde Groep
Techone, a service provider in the field of cloud services and telecommunication for SMEs has acquired Lagarde Groep with offices in Putten and Ede. After a series of successful acquisitions earlier this year, Techone adds with Lagarde Groep a leading player in the field of ICT, communications and security to its group. PhiDelphi Corporate Finance has advised Techone, a portfolio company of Nedvest Capital, on this acquisition.
Aart Bijkerk, director at PhiDelphi: “We identified a good match between the activities of Lagarde Groep and Techone, such as an integrated portfolio in security solutions. In addition, Lagarde can retain its own character within the Techone group. We congratulate Lagarde and Techone on this transaction.”
Bert Noteboom, manager-owner of Lagarde group: “For the past six years I have worked with great joy and pleasure to take Lagarde Groep to the next level. This has been successful, and I felt it was time to go. In recent times I have been approached by many parties which were keen to take over Lagarde. I only wanted to hand over Lagarde to another owner if I was convinced the company would end up in good hands. I have that feeling with Techone and I happy to hand over Lagarde Group.”
Coert Coomans, CEO of Techone: “We believe Lagarde is a great company and would like to thank Bert Noteboom for giving us the opportunity to let Lagarde join Techone. We share the same values and a focus on customer service. Lagarde Groep is a great addition to Techone’s portfolio. Furthermore, we would like to extend a warm welcome to all Lagarde employees and look forward to working together.”
With this transaction, PhiDelphi strengthens its extensive experience in the hosting and managed services sectors. PhiDelphi has, among other deals, advised on the sale of webhosting provider Antagonist to one.com, and the investment in managed services provider Felton by TIIN Capital.
